KLMU SABAH DIPLOMA IN ARCHITECTURE

Diploma in Architecture you will be provided with a strong foundation in architecture that equips you with the requisite skills and insight for comprehensive analysis, design and implementation. Besides learning construction materials and technology, you will also be trained on expressing and communicating design ideas.

You will understand design methodology, the history and theory of architecture, sustainability and the statutory requirements that must be applied and integrated into a project. During the design process, critical thinking and decision-making are specifically developed so that you can become creative, innovative and enterprising. Through practice and unique training, you also learn to both work independently or be an effective team player depending on the circumstances dictated by the project.

Course Aims

Cosmopoint College provide students with architectural design principles, theories and history supported by the creative problem-solving skills necessary to help them to assist in producing sustainable architecture designs.
To equip the students with comprehensive building science and knowledge of building construction, building technology, materials and building services.

To train students to draw, document and present their architectural design works using CADD, 3DMAX, PHOTOSHOP, SKETCH UP and last updated software technologies in electronic studios.

Future Career Opportunities
Graduates of Cosmopoint Sabah are able to have rewarding careers as CAD operators, site inspectors, quantity surveyors and graphic designers.

Entry Requirements
Candidates must meet the following requirements:

SPM with at least 3 credits inclusive Mathematics and pass in Art Studies. Candidates without Art Studies in SPM are required to attend an interview to present their artwork.

Pass in Bahasa subject is a must
