Kursk State Medical University Admission Dates for Malaysian Student

Kursk State Medical University (KSMU) intake dates for Malaysian Students is now open. Intake date for 2015 is March 2015.

Malaysia’s growing and aging population will require more specialists in the next 10 years. Student who are interested to study at Kursk State Medical University can now submit their application.

Kursk State Medical University Backgrounds

The faculty was established in 1935. Since then more than 20,000 physicians have graduated from the faculty with 120 D.Sc. and more than 650 Ph.D graduates. Many graduates have gone on to become academicians and innovators in their fields. These include academicians of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences V.N. Nikolaeva-Menshikova, V.S. Ryabtsev, Yu.K. Skripkin, V.G. Gostishev, corresponding –members of RAMS A.F. Bykovsky, V.L. Guryev, O.K. Skobelkin, G.Ye. Ostroverkhov.

The curriculum consists of 5 blocks of disciplines: humanities and socio-economic sciences, natural sciences, medico-biological, medico-preventive, and clinical disciplines.

Medical faculty graduates take further clinical specialisation course in 35 specialties, internship courses in 28 specialties and postgraduate courses in 47 specialties. The sphere of the professional activity of the graduates is determined by the acquired specialty and includes public health, social protection, medical and biological sciences, medical education, medical service in military structures, economy of public health.

Russian higher medical education has gained a remarkable reputation on the world stage due to high educational standards with advanced and sophisticated teaching methods and scientific approaches. A medical degree from KSMU is recognised by the World Health Organization (WHO), and General Medical Council (GMC) of major European countries, including Great Britain and France.
