IACT College CREACTIVE-Malaysia’s Pioneer in-house student creative agency

Initiated by IACT College, a college that is founded and endorsed by industry professionals, CREACTIVE is an in-house student-based creative agency formed over a decade ago to allow students a full experience of real world marketing communications.

Based on the method of project-based learning practiced at IACT College, the purpose of CREACTIVE is to give students hands-on experience in dealing with real clients. “In fact some of our students have displayed such professionalism that the agency is akin to a full-fledged advertising agency” says Queenie Yaw Quee Peng, IACT College’s senior lecturer and head advisor for CREACTIVE. “The agency offers a wide range of services ranging from strategic planning, branding and advertising through traditional and digital media channels.”

Impressed with the quality of ideas Low also commented on their enthusiasm, “I am glad they are putting theory into practice!”

In a recent project with Doi Chaang Coffee Malaysia, Victoriya Tortova (3rd Semester Diploma in Graphic Design) comments “I am just a college student but my design is getting the recognition and respect of a working professional. I am truly appreciative of being able to work with a real client.” In response, Doi Chaang Coffee Malaysia has contracted CREACTIVE as their branding partner for their Jaya One outlet to assist with their social media development. “Learning through experience is so much more powerful than just classroom teaching” Low highlights.
